Using Landing Pages
Simple web pages you build inside Alivo and share with a link, no web designer needed.
A landing page is a simple web page you build inside Alivo and share with a link. It is not your full company website, and you do not need a web designer or a separate website tool to make one. Think of it as a focused page for one job: introduce your sales rep before an inspection, give a home-show visitor a way to book on the spot, or turn a QR code on your truck into a booking. Landing pages are one of the features most teams unlock with their specialist after go-live, once the core setup is humming, so this page is your preview of what they can do.
How Pages Get Built
Pages are assembled from blocks you drag together in a visual editor under Marketing, then Landing Pages. Blocks cover everything a contractor page needs: a hero section, photo galleries, reviews and trust badges, an FAQ, a day-of checklist, maps, and booking forms wired straight to your agents and calendar. You can start from a blank page or from a ready-made template:
- About us. An evergreen page for cold traffic, built for truck wraps, yard signs, social profiles, and booth handouts.
- Appointment confirmed. A rich post-booking page with a live countdown, a map, and a prep checklist.
- Appointment reminder. A lighter day-before page with the event details and what to expect.
Every page gets a public link the moment it is saved. Edits go live right away, so fixing a typo or swapping a photo never means reprinting anything, as long as the link itself does not change.
The Ways Contractors Use Them
| Use | How It Works |
|---|---|
| Meet Your Sales Rep | Build a page with the rep's photo, bio, and reviews, and attach it to their team profile. Alivo then adds the link to their appointment confirmations and reminders automatically. |
| Truck and yard sign QR codes | Point a QR code at your About us page. Someone scans it on a Tuesday afternoon and can book an inspection on their own time. |
| Home shows | A short page with proof you are legit and one clear way to book, shared from a flyer or tablet at your booth. |
| Appointment texts and emails | Drop any page into your confirmation and reminder messages, and Alivo personalizes the link for that homeowner and appointment. |
Good to know: some blocks personalize themselves. When a homeowner opens a page from their confirmation text, a countdown can show their actual appointment time and a map can point to their address. The same page visited from a truck QR code just shows your standard company info.
Leads and Bookings Flow Right In
Landing pages are not just brochures. A page with a form or booking block is a lead source like any other: submissions create leads in your pipeline, your agent follows up automatically, and each page tracks its own visits so you can see what is actually pulling traffic. If someone starts booking but does not finish, Alivo can even send a nudge text a few minutes later asking if they need help picking a time.
Rule of thumb: give each page one job and one clear call to action. "Book a free inspection" beats a page with five different buttons, especially for cold visitors coming from a QR code.
Where to Go Deeper
When you are ready to build, How to Set Up and Configure Landing Pages walks through the editor and every block, and How to Get the Most Out of Landing Pages covers the use cases in detail, from home shows to appointment texts. Your onboarding specialist can help you spin up your first page in one of your sessions.
The takeaway: pick one job, build one page, and put the link where homeowners will see it. Start with a Meet Your Sales Rep page or an About us page for your truck, and grow from there as you see what works.
