Contractors Cloud Integration in Alivo
How Alivo settings map to Contractors Cloud Leads, Contacts, and Appointments.
The Contractors Cloud integration connects Alivo to your Contractors Cloud account so booked inspections create Leads and Appointments in Contractors Cloud without any manual data entry. Contractors Cloud, often shortened to CC, is the CRM (the system that stores your customers and jobs) that these records land in. Setup is a matter of connecting your account and then telling Alivo two things: where records belong, and which values to put on every job it builds. This guide walks through each setting and the CC records Alivo creates.

Connection and Integration Type
API Key
Connect with your Contractors Cloud API key (a Bearer token, which is just a long password that lets Alivo talk to your CC account).
Integration Type
- Both. Creates CC records and reads the CC calendar for availability.
- Calendar Only. Reads the calendar only. No Leads or Appointments are created.
- CRM Only. Creates records but does not read the CC calendar.
Where Records Belong
Two settings tell Alivo which part of your CC account a booking belongs to.
- Company. The CC company the Lead and Appointment belong to. This sets the company on every Appointment.
- Appointment Type. The CC appointment type applied to every booked inspection.
Good to know: Earlier setups leaned on a single lead-connection default to decide how a job was categorized. That silent fallback is gone. The job's details now come from the four values you set below, so nothing is left to a default you cannot see.
The Four Values Alivo Puts on Every Job
Contractors Cloud needs four values to build a job: Event, Workflow, Site Type, and Lead Source. You set each of these in the Custom Fields step of setup, and all four are required, so you cannot finish setup until every one is configured. For each value you pick one of two ways to fill it in:
- Fixed. Choose one Contractors Cloud value that applies to every lead, from a dropdown of your CC options. Use this when the answer is always the same (for example, every job uses the same Workflow).
- Match from an Alivo field. Let the value be chosen per lead based on one of your Alivo fields. You map each of your Alivo options to a CC value and set a fallback default for anything that does not match. Use this when the answer depends on the lead (for example, a different Lead Source for Google leads versus referrals).
This is how one company can send different leads to different Event, Workflow, Site Type, and Lead Source values, instead of everything landing on one static setup.
User Mapping
Map your Alivo team members to their Contractors Cloud users. The mapped host is added as an attendee on the Appointment.
Calendar Sync
Contractors Cloud uses All Events for calendar blocking. Appointments for mapped CC users block their availability in Alivo, so Alivo will not book a rep who is already busy.

Changes made only in Contractors Cloud do not automatically sync back to Alivo. This is where a tool like Alivo earns its keep: every booked inspection flows into CC with the right details already filled in, so your team is not re-typing the same job twice.
Rule of thumb: Before your first test booking, set your Company and Appointment Type, then configure all four job values (Event, Workflow, Site Type, and Lead Source). Those are what decide where every record lands and how each job is categorized inside Contractors Cloud.
